According to a London correspondent the three stamps which New Zealand is issuing to commemorate the vVtory of the Allies have been executed by Do La Rue and Co. and a supply will almost immediately be available in New Zealand. The halfpenpy is a recumbent figure of a lion, with the sums r:.ys in the hackgiound. The penny, which is red, has a representation of Brittania and a lion. The lid, something similar to tho present l jd, has the tattooed head of a Maori on the right-hand side, and some New Zealand genre on the left-hand side. All the stamps hear the word “Victory” and the dates 1914 and 1915. They are very handsome designs, and ,of course, very well execu T ted.
