THE MUNICIPAL BATHS.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Last season, the Borough Councillors waited until the only 'few fine days we had arrived, then emptied the baths, preparatory to cleansing it,.sheer bad management; now is the time to do it, and let a few wet days flush it out. The baths really need it, tlie whole place being in a neglected state; and for many months now the big gates leading to them, have been laying on the ground. Whilst on the. matter I should advise that all adults should have a clean certificate before entering the baths; also that a competent person should be there; in justice to the children, who greatly enjoy their swimming. These things should be atended to, therefore I trust no offence will be taken, over being reminded of their duty. I am etc., A PARENT. Hokitika, Oct-. 28th. 1919.
