Returned Soldiers are notified, to parade, in uniform if possible, at the Drill Shed on Sunday at 2.30 p.m. to attend the Dominion memorial service for the nurses who lost their lives "n the war. j The Territorials, Senior Cadets and Municipal Band will hold a parade on Sunday afternoon for the purpose of Memorial Service to 1 e held in the Anglican Church. Country members of Die Territorial and Senior Cadets aie invited to be present, j Tenders closing on Thursday next are • invited for the purchase for removal of the two storeyed building at corner of .Camp and Tancred Streets. Particulars from Mr R. Harcourt, Hampden St. At St. Mary’s Club euchre tournament last evening there was a fair attendance. The ladies first prize (a silk blouse) was won by Mrs Hatch, and •the second (set of tablespoons) by ..Mrs Shaw; the gent’s first (a roast of beef) by Mr J. Freitas, and second (shaving soap) by Mr Holling. Supper was hand■ed rognd after the presentation of prizes. 'A dance followed, music being supplied by Miss E. Heenan. The Club wish to thank two “well-wishers” who ! donated such valuable prizes for the evening.
