(Received This Day at COPENHAGEN, October 2U Germans continue gas shelling Riga. Germans on Monday fired on a British . warship, which immediately replied bombarding the German positions. The Germans four times vainly attempted *to force a passage over the Dvma at Friedriokstadt, fifty five miles distant from Riga. The British Fleet off Petrograd repeatedly shelled and bombed Kaastrayagorka.
FOOD FOR PETROGRAD.. (Received This Day at 11.20. a.m.) RIGA, Oct. 21. Admiral Cowan has been entrusted with the arrangements for sending food to Petrograd, immediately the city falls.
