Following on the resignation from the State Parliament of Mr Thomas Ryan, the Queensland Labour leader, to enter Federal politics, the Leader of the Federal Government has come to Queensland on a visit, lie lias gone on a tour, and has had enthusiastic receptions at various towns, though these have been accompanied with counter-blasts in favour of Mr Ryan, whom the Federal Opposition supporters are now prophetically hailing as the new Prime Minister of AusAustralia.
