COMPULSION TO BE USED

Asked on Saturday if he had any further information respecting the Victory Loan, the Minister of Finance said to a Wellington “Post” reporter: “Those who have not Subscribed, and who ought to have subscribed, will be called upon to do so. They have lost their opportunity of nbtaining 4J per cent., and will get 3 per cent.” Ihe Minister could give no further indication of the state of the loan at present, hut would not add to or detract from his previous statement that the loan would bo all right,.
