WAR LOAN SUBSCRIPTIONS. Sir James Allen stated eight millions had been subscribed, towards the War Loan and it was intended to put tlie compulsory clauses into operation. OTHER, BILLS. The Mortgages Extension Bill and Housing Bill were read a second tune. The House then went into Committee on the Mortgages Extension Bill, which was passed with minor amendments agreed to by the Minister. The Bill was then read a third time- and passed. The House rose at 2 a.m.
