LATE LOCALS.

Tho Secretary of the Hokitika Bowling Club received an invitation to-day from the Greymouth Bowling Club, for the President and members of the local Club to bo present at the opening o the Grey green to-morrow afternoon at 2.30 o’clock for the coming season. To-morrow night will bo a red lettei night in St Mary’s Club Rooms. Scores of tickets have been issued and have found a ready sale. The prizes for tho euchre tournament will be as follows. Both the winning lady and gent each receive \ ton of c°al. The members of the Christchurch Marist Brothers Old Boys Football team will be tho guests of tho evening, and a special supply of dance music has ibecn arranged for. In addition several vocal and instrumental items have been promised. Ladies are specially requested to bring a plate.—Advt. i
