MESSINES AND GRAVENSTAFEL’. •Sn - 'Janies Allen stated to the House on Friday that lie had received a cable from th'd General Officer Commanding the N.Z.E.F. in England a.s follows: —“ Battle Exploits Memorials Committee has approved applications for two of the sites—Messines and Gravenstafel for erection of memorials to New Zealanders. Cost of surveying and transfer of sites from Belgian Government estimated at £l5O. May authority he given for this expenditure? " The Minister added that he had approved of. the expenditure.
