WFSTLAND COUNTY COUNCIL.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 14th
I.—The Chairman to move:—“That the accounts for the month of August, 1919, as revised and passed for payment by the Finance Committee, amounting to £935 2s Id, as per schedule before the Council, be accepted and confirmed.”
2.—The Chairman to move:—“That the amounts for the month of September, 1919, as revised and recommended for payment by the Finance Committee, amounting to £ , as per schedule before the Council, be passed for payment.”
3.—The Chairman to move:—“That the Public Works Committee meet and consider the advisability of procuring serviceable road-making plant for the Council, and authorise Overseer Millner to report as to the class of machinery considered necessary to meet local requirements.”
4.—Cr. Chesterman to move:—“ That the Public Works Committee report as to making a by-law to regulate motor traffic in the County, including, specially, a wheel tax on such traffic, and the fixing of a speed limit on the public roads.”
5. —Cr. Chesterman to move:—“That tho Public Works Committee visit and report in respect to the application for a right to place a tramway on the Kanieri tramway road.” 6. -Cr Wells to move :—“ That Overseer Millner be instructed to prepare proposals for restoring the lower portion of Adair’s road to permit of through veliicle traffic.
