INTERESTING PARTICULARS. WANGANUI, This Day. The police yesterday raided a twoup school at .Eastcliff, with the result that about forty persons will be prosecuted. The school has ,been known to be in existence for months. The site was a depression in a secluded spot behind the pine trees. The police were faced with great difficulties, as sentries were well posted. The police therefore upere planted in built dug-outs, the work being carried out stealthily at night. A watch was set on tho school for several Sundays from the dugouts, the play and players being photographed. Yesterday the police sprang the trap, and emerged from their hiding places after the play had been watched for a* couple of hours, the school of twenty-seven breaking up in wild confusion.
