The “Daily Express’s" .Budpest correspondent states: —The Roumanians will evacuate 'Budapest in the next few days.- They, are pursuing a'deliberate policy of leaving the country in a chaotic condition, in order to provide an excuse for their return.
(The prospect of the renewal of a reign of Bolshevism is causing anxiety. The Communists have accumulated secret stores of arms, and ammunition, and are only awaiting a signal for a rising.
■lt is impossible for the Hungarians to maintain order after the evacuation by the Roumanians except in the trans-Danube district.
The Roumanians latest act is the destruction of the War Ministry telephones. They endeavoured to arrest Premier Friedrich, in order to form a new Government, but Friedrich, successfully appealed for 'British intervention.
