The minister of education as ordered the portraits of the Kaiser and family, with all matter glorifying the dynasty, to be eliminated from the school books. A GERMAN PLOT. An inquiry is proceeding at Potsdam into an officers’ plot to assassinate Herr Erzeberger, overthrow the Republic and re-establish the Monarchy.
BUSINESS IN GERMANY. LONDON, September 20. Tlie Berlin correspondent of the Chicago .“News” states that 'American business men are suffering from, lack of proper diplomatic and commercial representation in Germany. The United States as yet only has an army captain who is without real power, while there are British and French missions who are giving their countrymen much aid.
