Tho Charles Joseph Jury Estate Empowering Bill, a private Bill, was introduced by Sir J. Findlay, and was read a second time. PETITIONS. 180 petitions were presented from Dairy Companies praying for payment from the Consolidated Fund to compensate petitioners for the loss incurred in supplying the local butter market at a price below the export value. DISCUSSION ON PAPERS. Hie remainder of the afternoon sitting was taken up with discussions on papers laid on the table by Ministers. BOARD OF TRADE BILL.

The evening setting was occupied with the resumed debate on the Board of Trade Bill, the discussion being carried on by Messrs Luke, Austry, Stuart Payne, Dr Newman, ‘Hudson, Semple, Harris, Ward, Field (Nelson), Statham, McCombs, Holland, Fraser and Wright.

The Bill was read a second time on the voices. The House rose at 2.20. a.m.
