A VALUABLE REMEDY. SYDNEY, August 29. Following upon the free gift of the Gunn Anthrax Vaccine to the State, the New South Wales Government biologist reports that exhaustive tests liavo proved the vaccine is capable of giving protection against anthrax. It is stated that the vaccine keeps indefinitely and one dose suffices. The Chief Inspector of Stock reports that tests have proved that it is possible at any time to prepare vaccine, conferring immunity on stock against anthrax.
HUGHES RETURNING OVERLAND SYDNEY. August 27. Mr Hughes is coming overland from Fremantle. Reports state he is making ti triumphal procession homewards, along the Westralinn railway enthusiastic receptions being organised at various towns on the line en route from Fremantle.
