He instanced the Abbe Bosteels, who was sentenced to twelve years by the Germans for helping Allied soldiers across the Dutch frontier.
A FRENCH PRO-GERMAN. PARIS, Aug, 28, ' The paper “La Liberte” asserts that M. Judet in his pre-war agitation against any English alliance, was brought into contact with Caillaux, then favoring an alliance with Germany. Subsequently Judet attacked Poincare, and got Viviani as Premier, to interfere with a paper, on grounds that confidential information was reaching Vienna. Judet, who is now living in Switzerland, declines to make any statement on the matter.
