NEARING ODESSA. LONDON, August 14
The War Office reports General Deniken’s left wing is closely converging on Odessa. The Bolshevik occupation is precarious and escape is cut off.
MURMAN POSITION. IpNDON, Aug. 14. The Bolseviks have driven in the Allied outpost line westward of the Murman railway. There are clear indications that Uie Bolsheviks are aware of the Allied intention to evacuate. They contemplate a serious attack on the Murman front to hasten the withdrawal hoping also to damage the vetiring troops.
KOLTCHAK’S RETREAT. LONDON, Aug. 14The Boshevilts continue to push ahead their eastward advance. They have captured the town of Tuinen.
IN -SOUTH RUSSIA. LONDON, August 14. It is authoritatively stated that the left wing of the anti-Bolshevik Army is enclosing Odessa from the north-ee. as recent successes leave only one line railway open to Odessa. The AntiBolsheviks are now 30 miles from the Cl petlura‘s anti-Bolslieviks have been reinforced and re-equipped from Roumania and are advancing well towards Kieff. ... . General Deniken’s forces are within 40 miles of Odessa on the East.
