Constance Talmadge plays the principal character in the Select picture drama “ Scandal,” to be screened by Pollards at the Princess Theatre to-night. “ The Perilous Plunge,” the 10thepisode of “The Fatal Ring,” “Transporting Wood by -Water,” “Help! Help!” a Vitagraph comedy, and a Topical Budget will also be screened in conjunction with the big dramatic production. “ Scandal ” is a powerful picture of the troubles into which a too-spitited girl who has been insufficiently warned of the dangers of life. The situation although during, carries such a strong lesson that it becomes a veiy strong drama dealing with the facts of life. The settings are gorgeous, and show society life iu its most luxurious state.

The picture is adapted from the well-known story, .Montezuma’s Daughter,” which, in turn, was based on actual historical facts.
