THE PEACE TREATY.

INFORMATION ASKED FOR. WASHINGTON, July 14. The Foreign Relations Committee of the United States Senate has carried a series of resolutions demanding from the President, information on several matters connected with the ratification of the Peace Treaty. The Committee has so far reported three of its resolutions as follows:

(1) That the committee calls upon tli-' President for information regarding the existence of the alleged secret / treaty between Germany and Japan. .-4 (2) That the committee calls for information to show that an Ameiican protest was made, at Paris against the Shantung agreement. (3) That the committee desires _ know why the Republic of Costa Rica was not nermitted by the Big Five to sign the Peace Treaty.
