INFECTIOUS DISEASES. WELLINGTON, June 29: During the week ending last Moriday thore were 84 cases of diphtheria l in the Dominion, 5 of scarlet fever, 39‘of influenza, and 8 of lethargic encephalitis. Of the last named, one ease : .siii Taranaki,; and one in Wellington three are in North Canterbury, and one in Southland. INFLUENZA REPORT. WELLINGTON, Juno 2S: Between June 23rd and 28th there. were 28 influenza eases in the Dominion, two being pnuemonic and three severe. One case at Kaukapaknpa lias been fatal. There were (1 eases ill Auckland lmalbh district, 7 in Wellington, <> in Canterbury, and none? in Otago.
