Eventually, however, lie exhausted himself by lashing the deck with his heavy rail, and incidentally 'damaging the net n which he was caught. The thrasher shark is well known as the wlmle-killing variety, and, as lie usually keeps near, the surface, it is very unusual to find mo in a trawling net.
