There were 47 deaths and 346 fresh cases during the week end. All public and emergency hospitals are now full. Oakley and Levied managers of the New Zealand team, and three players have contracted the disease. The match against Orange for Wednesday next has been cancelled.

They state they only have light colds. Regarding the players, they say one or two had a slight attack of common influenza, while visiting Newcastle, but now are quite convalescent.
