j (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) ' [AUSTRALIAN <& N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION] POSITION IN IRELAND. PARIS, Juno 9. The Irish Amori'" l " Peace Conference Delegates have furnished to President Wilson a report on the state of Ireland for submission to the Peace Conference. The delegates have also sent copies of the report to King George and to Mr Lloyd George.
A letter covering the report discloses the present situation in Ireland It states: The Delegation have visited all the four provinces of Ireland, except those districts where they have been prevented from entering by the Army of Occupation. The report declares: “There is now a guerilla warfare, that usually is the prelude of a major conflict, going on in Ireland every day. It is proceeding between small detachments of the Army of Occupation and the Republican Volunteers. In these conflicts there are men killed and wounded on both sides.” j
The report adds: “With a- ferocity that is unparallelled even in modern warfare and within the past few days men and women have been shot down in the streets of the city of Dublin.
