ADLSSNCTON STOCK MARKET
A SMALL MARKET,

-Messrs Matson and Co. report as follows regarding their Stock sale yesterday : Fat Cattle—There was a large yarding and the quality of the steers was good, and cows arid heifers middling. Best Steel’ beef sold equal to last week. Extra heavy to £25 7s; good, £lB to £2O; cows and heifers, £9 10s to £l4; ;tnd down to £0 for poor quality. Store cattle. —The total yarding was only 35, all dry cows and brills. There was no change in the market, but the demand privately was a little better. Dry cows made £4 to £7 os, bulls £b to £ll os. • Stole sheep.—There was a small entry mostly lambs and wethers, which sold readily at last weeks price. The general tone of the market was good. Fat sheep.—There was a small yarding mostly of medium quality, which sold keenly at last week’s values. Best wethers to 42s prime wethers 33s to 33s 6d; best ewes to 345; others 24s to 31. The factories' were buying freely.
