“THE STRONG WAY,” THURSDAY.

On Thursday evening the powerful and daring world film drama, “ The Strong Way,” featuring JuneElvidge in the leading role, will be screened in conjuction with “Crushing Walls,” the 2nd episode of the great Pathe serial, “ The Fatal Ring.” Pearl White of “ Iron Claw ” fame has the leading role in this great serial. “ The Strong Way ” tells the terrible lesson of the tragic days and utter despair Cat follows a loveless marriage. Splendid scenery, especially the garden scenes, astounding trick skating exhibitions are features of this great play. Because of her mother’s insistence she married him for his money. Only a callous-hearted woman could have refused to listen to that tragic phrase : “ But, mother ! I don’t love him! ” What wonder that she eventually denied her husband the; right to enter her room. It works up to a thrilling climax. When the police insisted in searching in the wardrobe for the supposed murderer she rose to magnificent heights of selfsacrifice for the fugitive’s sake, because the fugitive was the one man she could love. As he stepped forth from his hiding place she exclaimed to her husband :• “ 1 told you you would drive me too far ! You come seeking a murderer, and you find—my lover! ” She was convinced that he had done the deed, while he was equally certain that it ' was she who had fired the phot.
