Atlanta City correspondent states the War Department has notified officials of the panAmerican Aeronautic Congress that the British Government has hecn invited to conduct dirigible flights from Britain to United States. An authentic report has been rec*iv-. ed saving the British Government is speeding up plans to start a dirigible' on her trans-Atlantic flight to United' States. A start might bo made in a few days.
AIRSHIP BREAKS LOOSE. ST JOHNS '.’(Newfoundland), May 25 Air. American dirigible, .which arrived here, broke loose from her moor' ings, and was blown seaward. It is reported that no one was aboard. DIRIGIBLE RECOVERED. (Received this day at 9.20 a.m.) NEW • YORK, May 26. The American dirigible which brake loose from her moorings at St. Johns and drifted seawards, has been recovered by a British steamer.
