\Y£ST COAST v. INANGAHUA. The above representative match was pla'eyd on Victoria Park, Gfroymouth on Saturday, and, after one of the best exliibitions of Rugby witnessed for some years, resulted in a win for the Coast by points to •5. There was a goodly number of spectators present, including a fair sprinkling of the fair sex.

The- visitors are a sturdy lot, and particularly good on line out work, hut their passing marks finish. MacKere-tt, Q’C'onnpv and Holmes scored for Otago and Wilkinson aiul Hall for the visitors. The goal kicking was poor no goals being registered, and Otago rvon by 9 points to 6. The match caused great interest, and \vas witnessed by about 5000 spectators.
