WEDNESDAY, MAY 21st. (Before E. C. Levvey Esq., S.M.) The police charged two hotelkeepers with failure to keep lights burning in front of their licensed premises. Defendants were fined £1 and 8s <_osts each. Grace Forster, (Mr. Murdoch), v. Catherine Giffnev, (Mr. J. Hannan), claim for goods supplied. By agreement judgment was entered for plaintiff for £6 and court costs.

T. T. Lehmann and Sons, (Mr Murdoch), for protection for 12 months for mining properties at Capo Terrace. — Recommended to Minister for grant. Itobt. Ford, (Mr-Sellers), for reservation of timber area 3 -Mile Terrace.— Granted.

Fred F. Kean, (Mr Murdoch), for duplicate license for special- claim at Greenstone. —Granted.

G. Lawrence, (Mr Murdoch), for dam at Quinn’s Terrace Greenstone Road.—Granted.
