THURSDAY -MAY 22nd. (Before E. C. Lcvvey Esq., S.M.) D. Spence sour. (Mr. Park), v. Otto Schroder, claim £1 10s. Judgment by default for plaintiff with costs 10s. E. Tcicholmann, (Mr. Park) v. W. F. Warren, claim £ll Os Gd. Judgment for plainiff with costs 28s Gd. . M. Sheriff v. A. Hargreaves, (Mr. Wells), claim £1 7s. This case was partly heard at last sitting, tho hearing being adjourned to enable plaintiff to supply further evidence. Plaintiff supplied her day book with the entries made, which were sworn to he inserted at the dale the debt was incurred, (May 1916). Judgment was given for 20s money lent, and a non-suit on the 7s Gd for board, costs of Gs being allowed. F. McGregor (Mr Sellers) v. John O’Donnell, (Mr. Park), claim for £22 15s. This was a counterclaim against the defendant, arising out of a business transaction in which O’Donnell had got judgment at a previous hearing. Plaintiff now claimed for moneys due out of the transactions between the parties. The evidence of defendant and his witness was heard at Wellington on commission. The plaintiff gave evidence in support of his case. (Left sitting).
