A MURDER CHARGE. MELBOURNE, This Day. Corporal Poulson was arrested and charged with murdering Private Emmett.
THIRTY-THREE DEATHS. MELBOURNE, This Day.. Thirty-three deaths from influenza during the week-end makes the total 1220.°

As a result of quarantine restrictions, Government have chartered (he steamer Riverina in order to relieve the serious position of Tasmanian producers.
LEAGUE FOOTBALL TOUR. (Received this day at 10.10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Interest is growing regarding the visit of the New Zealand League Football team. 'The secretary of the League points out that influenza restrictions are not imposed on football gatherings, and predicts it will soon be raised fiom all outdoor gatherings. It considers that despite influenza, both as regards attendance and finance, the prospects of the lour are bright.
