[A tragedy was reported from Port Pirie on November 22nd. A mofordriver, named Harold . Jacques, was engaged to drive a man named Budd to Crystal Brook. Jacques's body with the head battered to a pulp, was found on Saturday last, buried benoatli his own ear at the premises at Port ,I'irie, where Budd lodged. Bwdd’s landlady and landlord stated that Budd dug a hole stating lie intended clearing the undergoar of a motor-ear. Subsequently a filled motor car was ’brought by him, and a shed was erected over it. Budd was nrrorftcd on a charge of murdering Jacques. 11 (* stated he bought the I car for three hundred pounds ]
