AMUSEMENTS

POLLARD’S PICTURES.

GERMAN NAVAL SURRENDER.

To-morrow (Friday) evening for that -night only, Messrs J. and N. Tait present the only real official Admiralty film of the German Naval Surrender. This great picture is not a gazette. It is an official 8000 feet ol film showing the complete picturisation of the historic surrender, and depicting authentically the stirring incidents which happened 011 “ Der Tag” (the day). This big historical picture will be supported by a splendid programme that includes a comprehensive study of “Travels in Egypt.” The pictures in a very striking-manner depict the assembling of the various units of the Hun Fleets at Scapa Flow, the Firth of Forth and Harwich. Long lines of grey warships steal slowly out of the grey mists of the North Sea shepherded by slim light cruisers and our ugly destroyers. The migh; of Germany upon the seas comes to heel as it were under our very noses without firing a shot, depicting, the might of Britain upon the .sea, perhaps the most momentous chronicle of history. Mr Herbert Woods the well known Wellington vocalist has been specially engaged and will render stirring patriotic songs. The prices will be 2s id and is id, reserve at Mrs Browne’s.
