40 CASES IN DOMINION CHRISTCHURCH March 26. The following weekly report of influenza cases is furnished by the Hon. Russell:—Kaipara 1 (mild)f Whangarei 2 (severe); Auckland 1 (severe) 12 mild; Waikato 1 (severe); Cook County ll* (pneumonia); Waipawa 2 (mild); Stratford 9 (mild); Ilawera 1 (pneumonia); Wanganui 3 (mild); Palmerston North 2 (mild); North Canterbury 3 (mild); South Canterbury 1 (severe). The total is now 40, against 27 for the pi evjfous week, but the severe cases show a marked reduction, the total last week being 14. During the week, according to advice received no cases have been reported in Fiji. MORE MASKING IN SYDNEY SYDNEY, March 26. Cabinet decided to postpone the Royal Agricultural Shiow owing to the increase of influenza. Races so far are unaffected. ' Masking in trains will be compulsory from Friday. MASKING REGULATIONS.
