The League of Nations Committee have completed two thirds of the drafts of amendments. Articles 9 and 16, are being considered.
COVENANT AMENDED. PARIS, March 20.
The United States delegation lias agreed to an amendment of the League of Nations, providing that agreements under the Covenant shall not to construed sis an infringement of international policies heretofore generally recognictl.
AN AMENDMENT. PARIS, March 2b.
The League of Nations Committee has adopted an American amendment for the protection of nations against an influx of foreign labour. .Ifsot committees of the Peace Conference are merely awaiting permission from the Supreme Council to submit their reports. The reduction of Armaments clause has been amended to constitute merely a recommendation of the Government to reduce armaments.
