A DENIAL. (Received this day at 12.25 p.m) MELBOURNE, This Day. In connection with the Reverend M ilson’s statements cabled on the 21st, the Minister of Home Affairs disbelieves there is any foundation for the statements, and is making enquiries. Dr. Gilnith is positive that nothing like what Watson alleged, occurred during either his or Mr Watson’s experiences in the Northern Territory. The Supt. of the Aboriginal Settlements thinks Mr Watson must lie referring to the early sixties, when blacks killed a number of whites, following which the blacks were outlawed and shot down promiscuously.
