sin" “ God Send You Back To Ale,” and “ Come Sing To Me.” “ The Cross Bearer ” starring Montagu Cove as Cardinal Mercier of Belgium, the man who stood between humanity and the Huns, is a picture that shows how the courageous Prelate steadfastly opposed the German aggression in his stricken country. The story has an historic basis and an enthralling love theme is woven around the charming ligure of Liane who loves and is loved by a Belgium officer on active service. To save the girl from the gruesome desires of a German Governor-General, the Cardinal uses every means his wits can devise, and the combat between the one defenceless man and the might of Germany makes a notable story. “ Stranger Disposed,” the Bth chapter of “ The Mystery of Die Double Cross,” another episode of thrilling experiences and mystery fails to identify the masked s tranger.
