COMMERCIAL NEWS
At the Arn Ultra yards on Monday the entry comprised 52 head of fat cattle and 103 fat sheep. There was the usual attendance of buyers, and competition was brisk throughout the sale, prices showing an improvement compared with the last sale at these yards. Messrs Jeffries and Co. sold as follows:—On account of Mr W. H. Ivarnbach —120 fat sheep at 30s 9d, 43 at 29s 3d; on account of Mrs Cropper—2 fat cows at £9; on account of .Air J. Olsen—4 bullocks at £l6 10s, 2 at £l4, 2 at £l3 10s, 1 stag at £9 15s. on account of Mr T. O’Neill —2 heifers at £9 12s 6d, 1 steer at £9 7s 6d, 2 heifers at £3 7s 6d, 2 at£6 15s, 1 cow at £7 10s, 2 vealers at £5 ss; on account of Mr. M. J. Purcell —3 bidlocks at ’£ll, 2 at £lO 12s 6d, 2 at £lO ss, 2 at £9 17s 6d, 2 at £lO ss, 2at £8 17s 6d. 2- at £9 15s, 11 at £9.
