A meeting of all tlie strikers unions lias carried a resolution against accepting the employers’ offer to have a resumption on temporary terms ponding a final settlement. BELFAST BALLOT. BELFAST, Feb. 14. The vote of the workers is in favour of continuing the strike. The troops have taken possession o the gas and electricity services of the city.

CABINET’S ATTITUDE. LONDON, Feb. 14. Believing that food prices are largely a cause of the industrial unrest, the Premier is appointing a Cabinet to consider means of reducing prices. In the House of Commons, however,
Mr Bonar Law said that it was questionable whether Government control of food caused high prices of food stuffs. The Government was at present considering how to reduce prices. The suggestion was without foundation that tlie Treasury was interfering for the purpose of selling food at its own prices.
