The feature event of f,he day created keen interest, Roy Crawley winner of th Ausralasian Heavy Weight lo mile Championship taking the field with his 7 b.p. Hnrlcy-Dayidson, against J. Mercer in a 100 h.p. aeroplane. The course was over five miles, each competitor taking a flying start. Jlcrccr followed the line of the track at a height of about 500 feet'. Crawley won bv about fifty yards.
