WAR RISK BONUS. j WELLINGTON, Jan. 27. j The award of Mr Harold Beauchamp , chairman of the Bank ol New Zealand, j arbitrator in connexion with the claim , of the Marine Engineers’ Institute for, a war risk bonus from the Union Company gives £2 10s per month to engineers in boats trading on the New Zealand coast and t’o Australia, and £5 per month in the case of engineers ’in steamers running in the danger zone. | The payment of the bonus is to he as from October Ist, 1018. and is to continue until a new agreement is made.
