On Thursday evening next Pollards will present an attractive triple programme consisting of the World Film’s big story of Parisian life, “ The Awakening,” featuring Dorothy Kelly j " Embittered Love, tbe 12tli chapter of “ The Neglected Wife,” and the latest and most successful of Pathe serials, “ The Mystery of the Double Cross,” featuring the clever aud fascinating artist, Mollie King, in the leading role. “ The Awakening presents Dorothy Kelly in her first World Film picture. The story is a quick moving one of Parisian life in the students’ quarter where love does as it pleases not counting the cost. Wonderful scenes of the gaiety and sadness of life in Paris by day aud night, the reckless infamous wager that led up to a dual to the death. “ Embittered Love,” tbe 12th chapter of “The Neglected Wife,” brings this interesting serial very near to its closing scenes. “ The Lady iu No. 7 ” is the title of the first instalment of the latest Pathe serial, “ The Mystery of the Double Cross.” This splendid serial will be started ou its career of fifteen episodes on Thursday, the 30th. See the first episode and you’ll spend the next fifteen weeks in dizzy wonderment. Try to discover tbe identity of “The Masked Stranger.”
