VERDICT OF MURDER. TaUSjTJI A],IAN A N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION LONDON, Jan. 21. The Solton inquest was resumed today and brought to a conclusion. Evidence showed Sutton frequently visited Mrs Rutherford during her husband’s absence. A new feature was that the coroner read a letter written by Airs Rutherford last October, in which slit' begged her husband to divorce her. Mrs Rutherford, who is a handsome woman, was present at the inquest. Mrs Rutherford’s maid gave evidence that her marriage was an '>»-
, happy olio. ■ -On the ila.v of the tragedy, she states Rutherford locked his wife in her ; room. Tho verdict at the lmpiest was one «<f j wilful murder against Rutherford.
