A ‘GOLDWYN’ MONDAY.
On Monday, after an absence of over a year, the great Keystone idol will make her reappearance on the screen in the 6-act gorgeous Goldwyn picture “The Floor Below,” a play that is described as a story of mystery, thrills, love and laughter. There’s magic in the name of Mabel Normand. All the world remembers her as the bewitching Keystone comedienne and in the Goldwyn picture “The Floor Below ” she returns to the screen as charming as ever and as tricky, but with uudreamed-of-powers as a great actress. As Patricia O’Rourke, Mabel Normand will be loved by everyone who sees her. There is a surprise in store. It is the Goldwyn play “ The Floor Below and Mabel Normand is the heroine. But it is uot as farce comedienne that she returns to the screen. She is as fascinating and tricky as ever, but is now a great and finished emotional actress. Her work in the picture is a revelation. Pollards give notice that on next Thursday a big successful serial “ The Mystery of the Double Cros3 ” will be started. Mol lie King is the heroine and the query is “ Who is the Masked Stranger Y ”
