MR MASSEY PROTESTS. LONPOin, January 23. The New Zealand Peace Delegation are making their case for two Conference representatives public. Mr Massey says the claims for two delegates rests soundly upon New Zealand’ war elforts. He points out that New Zealand’s war sacrifices have proportionately been equal to those of the United Kingdom and greater than those of any other Dominion. He declared : “New Zealand looks a small country from here, but on the basis of its sacrifices it is more entitled to two representatives than certain other nations.” It is understood that Mr Lloyd George has pointed out Britain was sympathetic to the claim, but tne limitation of representation was the work of the Congress as a whole.
