A very pretty n odding took plaeo on i Wednesday last at the residence of | Mrs Taminelli,. Kanieri. The Rev. , Father Clancy was the officiating eler- : g.vinan. The contracting parties were | Annie, second daughter of Mrs Tami- , nelli and Edmund, youngest son of Mrs ! John Morris. The bride who was given away by her brother in law, Mr Dwan, looked charming in a beautiful white Crepet-de-chine gown trimmed with maltose lace and wore the usual wreath and veil and carried a bouquet | of choice roses and maiden-hair fern, i ■ She was attended bv her sister, Miss j Ethel who looked charming in a crepe- f de-eliine frock and pale blue picture { hat trimmed with pink roses and carried a bouquet of pink and white carnations. Mr Tom Spence acted as best man. After the ceremony th L . bridal party motored to the hall where over 89 guests sat down to a sumptuous breakfast w lip re the usual toasts were honoured and duly responded to, The happy couple left by motor en route for Nelson where the honeymoon is to be spent'. They were the recipients of costly ;atid numerous 1 presents including several cheques, In the evening a Social Dance was given by the mother of the bride which was immensely enjoyed by 'a great number of friends. The music was provided by Mrs Rolling assisted by the Hokitika Band.
