POLLARD’? PICTURES. KITTY GORDON IN "DIAMONDS AND PEARLS.” To-night (Thursday) the World Film’s powerful play, " Diamonds and Pearls,” will leature Kitty Gordon in a role that tells its own sordid story. It is a problem play that probes deep into human nature. “ I must marry for money,” cries the woman and she secures a rich husbaud. Married to a millionaire, a tremendous success is secured by the young wife but the splendour of her entertainments costs her husbaud, such as he is, more money than he can afford and this paves the way for the tragedy that soon happens. The attractive serial, "The Neglected Wife,” gets one step nearer the end with the screen iug of “ A Reckless Indiscretion,” the nth chapter. On Monday evening next the Keystone idol Mabel Normand returns to the screen after over a year’s absence in the Goldwyii feature, “ 1 he Floor Below.”
