AUSTRALIAN AIRMEN.
i WISH TO RETURN TOGETHER. LONDON, January 2. The officers and men of the Austra- , Han Flying Corps most strongly support the suggestion that the should return as early as possible as a unit. The question is delayed for a decision from Melbourne,
The corps feels that if a return was made piecemeal and the men scattered all over the Commonwealth it would be impossible to re-form the squadrons and preserve its magnificent traditions.
If a return was maw us a unit it would be possible ta arrange a striking demonstration worthy of the brilliant services rendered by the men in France and Palestine.
This corps would be headed by CO decorated men. The full equipment of the eight squadrons is valued at £750,000. It is pointed out that 200 cadets could finish their training, and that there arc 355 non-effective officers and 2212 of other ranks.
