POLLARD’S PICTURES. HUD YARD KIPLING, THURSDAY The programme held up on Monday has come to hand and will be screened on Boxing night, (Thursday) with the addition of the seventh episode of the great serial “The Neglected Wife.” The star feature for presentation is a truly great pieturisation of Rudyard Kipling’s famous story, “The Jewel of Desire” (Naulahka). Perfectly produced by tl ie Pa the Company with Antonio Moreno, Helen Chadwick and the world’s greatest dancer “Doraldine” in the cast. “The Jewel of Desire” is a picture that no lover of Kipling's should miss. It exhales the weird and mysterious atmosphere of India in contrast to the matter of fact western lovers facing dangers (among the teeming millions), seeking the “Jewel of Desire. Hair-breadth escapes, wonderful settings. Seusuous dancts, and a perfect love story by Britain’s greatest story-teller (Rudyard Kipling) describes the truly great picture.
