MEXICO CITY, Dec. 21. Von Likkardt, the German Minister to Mexico, has been recalled to Germany. NEW YORK, December 22. The recall is regarded as the death blow to German inspired anti-American propaganda and is the forerunner of tho dismissal from their posts of all German Consular officials, who have used their official position to promote illfeeling among Mexicans against United States. It is probable that all German newspapers will cease publishing after von Likhardt’s withdrawal. Without his financial aid it is unlikely they will continue to appear. It is common talk that Yon Likkhardt’s has been l’ecalled at the direct instigation of United States. He will be granted a safe conduct through United States if 1 e desires to travel by that route. It is expected he will leave within a few days.
