WITH THE NEW ZEALANDERS.
A VISIT FROM THE KING. (From Captain Malcolm Ross, Official War Correspondent with tho New Zealand Forces in tbo field). December 10th. The other day the Division plus the Second New Zealand Army and the Field Artillery Brigade, commenced its march towards the German frontier, moving by road. It will proceed by easy stages, with occasional halts of a few days. The Division has just been honoured by a visit from the King, who was shown over Le Quesnuy hv General Russell, aud was greatly interested in studying on the actual ground the plan by which the old frontier fortress town was recaptured in. the last days of the war. At present I am lying ill in the casualty clearing station, and am unable to accompany the Division, but I have arranged for the cabling of anything jjn portant through official sources. It is understood that the Division will eventually find itself ill the vicinity of Cologne.
